`MADIPU` ON BOOTHARADHANE

Another Tulu film – one of the four recognized languages of the Karnataka state – ‘Madipu’ on Bootharadhane is main focus. The state of Karnataka that follows many cultural activities ‘Boothakola’ is one of the famous activities in Dakshin Kannada. The tribal sector follows this practice with great respect and honor.

‘Madipu’ that focus on ‘Bootharadhane or Bootha Kola’ concentrate on the significance of it picking the subject from the real life. It is made in Tulu language. Madipu means blessing, fear etc.

Chetan Mundadi worked with ace TV director Vinu Balanja is taking up debut direction. For screenplay he is seeking help of his mentor, Chetana Thirthahalli, Naresh Nitin, Dayanand G Kathalsar. H Girish Rao alias Jogi has penned dialogues for ‘Madipu’.

Sardar Sathya, Ila Vitla, MK Mata, Dr Seetha Kote, Nagaraja Rao, Chetan Rai Kini, Hanumanthappa, Jyothi Rai, Baby Shreya, Dayanand Bettapadi are in the cast.

With honor and respect to Tulu language well known music director V Manohar is working with no remuneration.

It is Sri Sai Sharanam Film. Hemanth Suvarana is producer. The shoot for Madipu starts from August 5th in and around Karkala region.
